Seems everyone was helpful!! I'm the one that told you how to cure the blinking security light on your vert. Hope you make it next year, that's a gorgeous vert you have!! I'll have my vert there next year as well. Just so I can win 'best vert' in the show, Steve's may still be here in my shop for repair...

Hello Chris. Yeah I'm already looking forward to next year! Thanks for your advise for fixing the security light. I fixed the switch you told me about and got the alarm to arm, but something kept setting it off and I ended up replacing the switch under the hood as well. Works great now.

No worries Clay! I guess I like helping people out...lol

Fan Clutch is still running strong! I made it all the way home and bought a new one but the one I got from Matt Schumacher (EvilTwin) only had about 40k miles on it so it is still on. I ordered 2 more up. One to replace his he loaned me and one as a spare.

Hate to see what happened to the little guy. Did they ever figure out what it was he found and lit? Or was it some sort of "custom" made explosive.

Didn't work so he blew on the fuse as he was lighting it and it started going. He was at least 2 feet back when it went off. That is how powerful it was. He is getting a Skin Graft Tomorrow and is in great spirit. I have been at the hospital daily since the incident. My guess is that it was not an Artillery shell as it had no propulsion jacket on it. Just a fuse. It HAD to be a homemade paste of some sort or watered down C-4 or some Flash Powder mixed with the right stuff. There was no "shrapnel" per say. All of the marks on his knees, neck, chest, arms, hand and face were burns. There were a few that impacted so hard they left bruising with burns. No shrapnel at all though. Only burning medium that was totally consumed before and after impact. I was just playing soccer with the Little Guy today. He just got his Nerve Block out so he was supposed to be in a lot of pain but he is a tough little shit. He was running around and doing normal kid stuff.

He also told me that he was not going to be able to play video games again...I laughed at him and drug his ass down to the waiting room where there was a PS2. Sat him down and told him to get busy. Within...Oh about...3 MINUTES he was playing Spyro the Dragon (super old game but 3D and requires both Analog Sticks to play and only decent game they had...) with his ONE LEFT HAND!!! lmfao

Re: BZF 2010 ... Branson Baby!!!!!

I know Ace (founder of our Z club and avid Z31 guy) has always told me the Z31s never get enough street credit and after a few Branson Z Fests you guys all proved him right. You all really know how to bring it! I am really looking forward to running with you guys again next year. It was also cool to hang with some of you and see that you are still developing an aftermarket for your Zs and maintaining the Z31 potential to whole new levels.

If you guys are feeling froggy (enter shamless plug here ) I would love to see you guys come down to Midwest Z Fest and run the track with us in September! I know we don't have Bransons roads but the 2.24 mile track offers plenty of space to run your Zs and test your driving skills.
